Tribological characteristics of fullerene-containing lubricants

The fullerene soot containing different concentrations of C60 was tested as an active additive influencing the lubricating properties of a pure paraffin used as a control lubricant. The quality assessment of the prepared lubricants were made using the four-ball extreme-pressure tester.
