Valve replacement for Ebstein’s anomaly of the tricuspid valve

The role of valve replacement in the treatment of Ebstein's anomaly of the tricuspid valve remains controversial. Between 1965 and 1977, five patients with Ebstein's anomaly ranging in age from 11 to 57 years (mean 29) underwent tricuspid valve replacement in our institution. All of the patients were cyanotic but one, three were in Functional Class III,
