Fermentative degradation of triethanolamine by a homoacetogenic bacterium [PDF]
With triethanolamine as sole source of energy and organic carbon, a strictly anaerobic, gram-positive, rod-shaped bacterium, strain LuTria 3, was isolated from sewage sludge and was assigned to the genus Acetobacterium on the basis of morphological and physiological properties. The G+C content of the DNA was 34.9 +/- 1.0 mol %.

Bis(triethanolamine)nickel(II) sulfate
The title compound, [Ni(C6H15NO3)2]SO4, contains two triethanolamine (TEA) ligands bound to an Ni2+ metal centre, which lies on a crystallographic inversion centre, and one sulfate anion located on a twofold rotation axis such that the asymmetric unit ...

Hydration of cement — role of triethanolamine
Abstract Following addition of 0.1, 0.25, 0.35, 0.5 and 1.0 per cent triethanolamine, studies have been made of the hydration and hardening characteristics of (a) tricalcium aluminate, (b) tricalcium aluminate + gypsum, (c) tricalcium silicate, (d) dicalcium silicate, and (e) portland cement.

New Mechanism on Synergistic Effect of Nitrite and Triethanolamine Addition on the Corrosion of Ductile Cast Iron [PDF]
In general, we compared the different inhibition mechanisms of organic inhibitor with that of anodic inhibitor. When triethanolamine or nitrite was added separately to tap water for inhibiting the corrosion of ductile cast iron, large amounts of ...

Seawater ecotoxicity of monoethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine
Monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA) and triethanolamine (TEA) are compounds with potential acute, sub-chronic and chronic toxicity effects towards aquatic species. A literature review highlighted the existence of a gap in the knowledge on their toxicity with saltwater testing species.

Cytochrome P-450-dependent catabolism of triethanolamine in Rhodotorula mucilaginosa [PDF]
The yeast Rhodotorula mucilaginosa was able to grow in media containing triethanolamine or diethanolamine as the sole nitrogen source. During growth in the presence of triethanolamine, extracts of yeast cells contained increased levels of cytochrome P ...
