Fermentative degradation of triethanolamine by a homoacetogenic bacterium [PDF]
With triethanolamine as sole source of energy and organic carbon, a strictly anaerobic, gram-positive, rod-shaped bacterium, strain LuTria 3, was isolated from sewage sludge and was assigned to the genus Acetobacterium on the basis of morphological and physiological properties. The G+C content of the DNA was 34.9 +/- 1.0 mol %.

Spatially Organized Human Ovarian Spheroids Instruct Endometrial Morphogenesis
A spatially organized human follicle‐like spheroid (SPHEGaT) composed of granulosa cells (GCs) and stromal‐derived theca‐like cells (TLCs) establishes sustained steroidogenesis in vitro. When co‐cultured with human endometrial organoids (EMOs), estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P4) exchange induces secretory/progesterone‐responsive differentiation ...

The ABCABC stacking sequence in 2D ZnIn2S4 nanosheets creates intrinsic non‐centrosymmetry, enabling robust piezocatalysis under weak mechanical agitation. The nanosheets achieve a H2O2 yield of 276.7 µmol g−1 h−1 and uranium extraction capacity of 763.2 mg g−1 via a dual mechanism of direct piezoreduction and in situ H2O2 complexation.

This work demonstrates a novel energy regulation strategy using the long‐lived S₁ state as a “kinetic capacitor” to achieve temporally decoupled integration of photoinduced deformation and multicolor fluorescence in naphthalimide‐functionalized carbon dots. This dual‐channel programmable shunting of excited‐state energy establishes a dynamic single‐use

4D Materials of Tough and Rapid Thermoresponsive Hydrogel by PET‐RAFT Polymerization
NIPAm‐containing bilayer hydrogels using a novel hydrogel formation method utilizing oxygen‐tolerant PET‐RAFT polymerization to investigate their temperature‐responsive behavior. The material properties strongly depend on NIPAm concentration and polymer density. Finally, we demonstrated a model gripper with optimized compositions.
