A Suspended Stripline Frequency Tripler Using a Left-Handed Nonlinear Transmission Line [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
A suspended stripline frequency tripler using a left-handed nonlinear transmission line (LH NLTL) is presented. The proposed tripler using the LH NLTL is composed of a series of varactor diodes, shunt inductances, and a high-pass filter implemented with ...

Physics potential of a Tevatron tripler [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2000
We explore the capabilities for new physics discovery in proton-antiproton collisions at 5.4 TeV center-of-mass energy with luminosity $10^{33} cm^{-2} s^{-1}$ at a Tripler upgrade of the Tevatron collider. The prospects are robust for the usual Higgs boson and supersymmetry benchmarks. With an integrated luminosity of 40 fb$^{-1}$, discoveries at 5$σ$

On the Feasibility of a Tripler Upgrade for LHC [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2005 Particle Accelerator Conference, 2006
The design of high-field dipoles has been optimized using a block coil geometry. The optimization includes stress management and flux plate suppression of multi-poles from snap-back. The design has been extended to higher field by devising a hybrid coil geometry containing inner windings of Bi-2212 and outer windings of Nb 3 Sn.

A broadband Heterostructure Barrier Varactor tripler source [PDF]

open access: yes2010 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium, 2010
We present the first demonstration of a broadband Heterostructure Barrier Varactor tripler, designed to cover a major part of the WR-8 waveguide band. The source comprises a waveguide housing, a six-barrier InP-HBV diode flip-chip mounted on an AlN microstrip filter circuit.

Successful Conservative Therapy in Rockwood Type V Acromioclavicular Dislocations

open access: yesOrthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, 2015
Objectives: Acromioclavicular (AC) joint injuries are common and constitute approximately 9% of all shoulder injuries. Traditionally Rockwood Types IV, V, and VI AC dislocations are indicated for surgery, type III dislocations are controversial, and type

Parallel operation of magnetic frequency triplers.

open access: yesJournal of the Magnetics Society of Japan, 1989
Magnetic frequency triplers provide high reliability and a good output waveform and therefore have been used widely. This paper reports experiments, analysis and reviews made on the parallel running of two frequency tripler units to increase the capcity of the device.

The Displacement of the Clavicle is a Better Predictor of Surgical Intervention in the Non-Operatively Treated Acromioclavicular Dislocation than the Increase in Coracoclavicular Distance

open access: yesOrthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, 2015
Objectives: Acromioclavicular (AC) joint injuries are common and constitute approximately 3.2% of all shoulder injuries. Traditionally Rockwood Types I and II are treated conservatively, Type III dislocations are controversial, and Types IV, V, and VI AC
