Social bees, especially Meliponini, formed a persistent core that maintained plant–bee interactions across both dry and green seasons in the Caatinga. Observed butterfly richness was highest in moderately protected areas. During the dry season, vegetation productivity increased butterfly richness while human population density reduced it.
