Abbreviations: TAVI, transcatheter aortic valve implantation; ATTR‐CM, transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis. We aimed to diagnose occult ATTR‐CM in patients with severe aortic stenosis undergoing TAVI using bone scintigraphy. We verified a diagnosis of ATTR‐CM in 8 of 171 (4.7 %) consecutive aortic stenosis patients who underwent TAVI.

ECG-FM: An Open Electrocardiogram Foundation Model [PDF]
The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a ubiquitous diagnostic test. Conventional task-specific ECG analysis models require large numbers of expensive ECG annotations or associated labels to train. Transfer learning techniques have been shown to improve generalization and reduce reliance on labeled data.

Here, an ultrafast early heart‐attack warning system is invented through Surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy using collapsible nanofingers and machine learning (ML). By using functionalized nanofinger structure, it allows for trace amounts of biomarkers to be detected. Raman spectra are constructed for predictive analytics using ML models.

Post Operative Troponin-T level as a marker of Extent of myocardial ischemic injury in mitral Valve replacement surgeries [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: Cardiac surgery is often complicated by some degree of myocardial ischemic damage, despite much improvement in myocardial protection strategies and surgical techniques.

Abstract Aims Cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) is the standard approach for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in advanced ischaemic cardiomyopathy. Microaxial pump support has been envisioned to allow for beating‐heart CABG without CPB (MPCAB), thereby avoiding CPB‐inherent complications.

Progress in COVID research and developments during pandemic
The pandemic respiratory disease COVID‐19 has spread over the globe within a small span of time. Generally, there are two important points are being highlighted and considered towards the successful diagnosis and treatment process. The first point includes the reduction of the rate of infections and the next one is the decrease of the death rate.
