Itinerary Planning for Cooperative Truck Platooning
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2019Abstract A cooperative truck platoon is a set of virtually linked trucks driving with a small intra-vehicle headway enabled by connected and automated vehicle technologies. Optical Truck Tracking for Autonomous Platooning
2015Platooning applications require precise knowledge about position and orientation pose of the leading vehicle. We present an optical solution for a robust pose estimation using artificial markers and a camera as the only sensor. Temporal coherence of image sequences is used in a Kalman filter to obtain precise estimates.

Truck platooning in mixed traffic

Symposium, 2002In this paper, an evolutionary concept for platooning of trucks is presented, which requires no additional infrastructure and can operate in today's traffic conditions.
