Identification and characterization of two repetitive non-variable antigens from African trypanosomes which are recognized early during infection [PDF]
The present paper describes two repetitive proteins representing common antigens of African trypanosomes which are non-variant and which are recognized early in infection by the host immune system.

Trypanosome infections were sought in 46 non-human primates captured principally in Amazonian Brazil. Twenty-two (47.8%) were infected with four Trypanosoma species: T. cruzi, T. minasense, T. devei and T. rangeli. These preliminary results confirmed the

Genetic variability of Colombian populations of Trypanosoma cruzi and Trypanosoma rangeli.
This paper presents our study of genetic variability of Trypanosoma cruzi and Trypanosoma rangeli strains isolated from different Colombian biological hosts, using multilocus enzyme electrophoresis for 15 enzyme systems and electrophoretic analysis of kinetoplast DNA (kDNA) digested with EcoRI and MspI endonucleases.
