Tuber brumale: A Controversial Tuber Species
2016Tuber brumale is one of the most controversial and most studied Tuber species. Though they are excellently organoleptic and consequently have gastronomic and economic value, they are considered to have a contaminant role in truffle plantations. In addition, the relationship between T. brumale and Tuber moschatum was a long debate.

TSC alters cellular proliferation and differentiation, resulting in hamartomas of various organs, tumor formation, and altered neuronal migration. The phenotype is highly variable.
