Hepatic involvement in childhood tuberculosis
The Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 1984Liver biopsy was carried out in 35 cases of disseminated tuberculosis. Seventeen percent showed evidence of tubercle on liver and was noted more often in miliary tuberculosis (33%), tuberculous meningitis (26%) and in tuberculous bronchopneumonia (15%).

Hepatic involvement in tuberculosis.
The Journal of the Association of Physicians of India, 1993Seventy one cases of pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis (confirmed by clinical, sputum examination, Skiagram, lymph node or other organ biopsy) and 13 cases of PUO suspected to be tubercular in origin were included in the study. Besides, thorough clinical workup, LFTs and liver biopsy were also done in all cases.
