Peritoneal Tuberculosis Mimicking Cancerous Peritonitis With Elevated Serum Cancer Antigen 125 and Carbohydrate Antigen 19-9 Levels: A Case Report. [PDF]
We present a patient with massive ascites with elevated serum cancer antigens 125 (CA125) and carbohydrate antigen 19‐9 (CA19‐9) levels who was diagnosed with peritoneal tuberculosis by laparoscopic findings and peritoneal biopsy, and was successfully treated with anti‐tuberculous agents with a decrease of serum CA125 and CA19‐9.

Miliary pattern on radiographs are attributed always to tuberculosis even though the differential diagnoses of miliary pattern is very wide. This pattern is most commonly caused by infectious diseases and rarely by malignancies.
