TBDLNet: a network for classifying multidrug-resistant and drug-sensitive tuberculosis [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering Reports (2023), 2023
This paper proposes applying a novel deep-learning model, TBDLNet, to recognize CT images to classify multidrug-resistant and drug-sensitive tuberculosis automatically. The pre-trained ResNet50 is selected to extract features. Three randomized neural networks are used to alleviate the overfitting problem.

Adenocarcinoma of the Lung Mimicking Miliary Tuberculosis

open access: yesCase Reports in Oncology, 2020
Miliary shadows on chest imaging have wide differential diagnoses. The most common etiology is infectious, such as miliary tuberculosis (TB) and histoplasmosis, but miliary shadows can be the presentation of sarcoidosis, pneumoconiosis, and secondary ...

Miliary Tuberculosis in Immunocompromised Patient Induced by Imatinib and Steroid

open access: yesJurnal Kesehatan Andalas, 2022
Miliary tuberculosis occurs due to the hematogenous spread of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis from the primary complex.  The use of steroid and cytotoxic drugs increases the incidence of miliary tuberculosis.  Typical manifestations of miliary tuberculosis is

Corticosteroid-induced exacerbation of cryptic miliary tuberculosis to acute respiratory distress syndrome

open access: yesMedicine, 2020
Rationale: Steroid is known to cause generalized immunosuppression, thereby increasing the risk of new infection or recurrence of tuberculosis. However, corticosteroid as a culprit for exacerbation of miliary tuberculosis—from a cryptic to an overt form ...
