ABSTRACT Anaerobic ammonium‐oxidizing (anammox) bacteria employ a unique, hydrazine‐based pathway to obtain energy from nitrite and ammonium. These organisms possess distinct Rieske/cytochrome b complexes whose precise role in anammox metabolism remains unclear, but which have been proposed to include the generation of NAD(P)H.

ABSTRACT The development of efficient and stable bifunctional catalysts remains a key challenge for green hydrogen production via electrochemical water splitting. In this study, a bimetallic Mo/Fe‐doped CoP2 nanoleaf array anchored on carbon cloth (Mo, Fe‐CoP2@CC) was synthesized from zeolitic imidazolate framework‐L (ZIF‐L) via an ion‐exchange and low‐

Step‐Ladder Bioprinting to Align Collagen Fibers for Anisotropic Tissue Fabrication
The step‐ladder printing platform includes successive segments of channels with varying widths in a custom barrel design. This design allows for improved anisotropy of collagen fibers during extrusion. To demonstrate its effectiveness, corneal constructs with high transparency and shape fidelity, as well as articular cartilage constructs, displaying ...

Spatially resolved SECCM measurements reveal that hierarchically grown microribbons on 2D WS2 drastically suppress local HER activity. Relative to the basal plane of the 2D monolayer directly supported on an Au substrate, single‐layer and multilayer microribbons exhibit more than a ∼5‐fold and >10‐fold decrease in current density, respectively.
