Production of Canned Tuna using Local Tuna Species
Food Science & Nutrition Technology, 2022 Albacore and mackerel tuna were used to produce local canned tuna. After canning process, total volatile nitrogen basis, trimethyl amine, free fatty acid, peroxide value and thiobarbituric acid values were within the acceptable limits for both tuna species.

The Anatomical Record, EarlyView.Abstract Fishes of the genus Enchodus were abundant and cosmopolitan in the Late Cretaceous, but are primarily known from isolated remains in Canada. Four well‐preserved fish skulls were recovered in recent years from ammolite mines sampling the Bearpaw Formation of Southern Alberta, and are here referred to Enchodus petrosus Cope, 1874.
