MIMO iterative array processing with LMMSE turbo equalization
IEEE 60th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2004. VTC2004-Fall. 2004, 2005Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems promise to provide significant increases in system capacity for future wireless communication systems. However, realization of the highest potential capacity of a MIMO system requires a high signal-to-noise ratio and, even more practically, any interference from other access points or other systems has to ...

Demands for turbo-molecular pumps in the aluminium etching process
Vacuum, 1990Abstract Turbo-molecular pumps used in etching processes have to fulfil special demands concerning corrosion stability. The rotor and stator are usually manufactured out of aluminium alloys. Chlorine containing etching gases such as Cl 2 , BCl 3 or CCl 4 strongly attack the rotor and stator.

Assessing the performance of turbo processing
2006This talk is dedicated to the turbo principle in digital communications. In order to understand how this principle was appeared, a brief historical review will be made since the beginning of the information theory field. Second, we will answer two fundamental questions about the turbo principle: "how and why does it work?".

Turbo SpaceTime Processing to Improve Wireless Channel Capacity
2009By deriving a generalized Shannon capacity formula for multiple-input, multiple-output Rayleigh fading channels, and by suggesting a layered space-time architecture concept that attains a tight lower bound on the capacity achievable, Foschini has shown a potential enormous increase in the information capacity of a wireless system employing multiple ...
