Effect of Cash Turnover, Receivables Turnover and Inventory Turnover on The Profitability of Pharmaceutical

open access: yesThe Accounting Journal of Binaniaga, 2023
The business run by the company aims to create the highest possible profit, this profit is expected to continue to be generated in the short and long term. Investment is very necessary in achieving maximum profit. The investment consists of working capital such as: Cash, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory. In increasing profitability, it is followed by

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Contribution of Chemical Stratification to the Extent of Water Renewal in a Deep Lake

open access: yesWater Resources Research
Turnover events in deep lakes are crucial for water quality and trophic balance. If on one side there is wide consensus that climate change will strengthen the thermal stability of the epilimnion, on the other a smaller number of studies have ...

Managerial competencies in tackling an acute company crisis

open access: yesAgricultural Economics (AGRICECON), 2008
The crisis manager's goal is not only to stop the crisis development in the company, but, as a further step, to achieve the fundamental turnover in its development leading to a successful solution.

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Protein oxidation and turnover

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Science, 2000
All biomacromolecules are faced with oxidative stress. Oxidation of a protein molecule always induces inactivation of the molecule and introduces a tag to that molecule. These modified protein molecules are prone to degradation in vivo by the proteasome system.

Performance-Induced CEO Turnover

open access: yesThe Review of financial studies, 2020
This paper revisits the relationship between firm performance and CEO turnover. Instead of classifying turnovers into forced and voluntary, we introduce performance-induced turnover, defined as turnover that would not have occurred had performance been

Ubiquitination of secretory granules promotes their crinophagic degradation in Drosophila

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ubiquitination of secretory granules in Drosophila larval salivary glands is a critical molecular trigger for crinophagy, the lysosomal degradation of unreleased, or low‐quality granules. The E3 ubiquitin ligase Cnot4 is recruited to the surface of secretory granules to induce crinophagy.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
