The Cenomanian and Turonian in NortheasternCentral Asia

Cretaceous Research, 1984

The Cenomanian-Turonian transgression in the Iberian Ranges (Spain): depositional sequences and the location of the Cenomanian-Turonian boundary

Cretaceous Research, 1993
Abstract In the central Iberian Ranges the Cenomanian-Turonian boundary is located within a 3rd-order depositional sequence. Sedimentation began following an Atlantic transgression which flooded the Iberian plate from its northern margin. Facies are deepest, mainly hemipelagic, in the north (marls and nodular limestones with ammonites, echinids and ...

Turonian Normapolles from Portugal and Southern France; correlations

Review of Palaeobotany and Palynology, 1980
Abstract With the help of a co-occurrence table, Normapolles from some palynofloras of the Turonian in Portugal and southern France are classed according to stratigraphic distribution. The correlations obtained by this means are more accurately defined through digital processing of the co-occurrences and the paleogeographic consequences which result ...

Sea-level changes around the Cenomanian-Turonian boundary

Cretaceous Research, 1993
Abstract The stratigraphical position of widespread hardgrounds in chalk successions mark the time of regressive troughs of sea-level. Using this technique it has been possible to chart the dates of regressive troughs through the Middle Cenomanian to Late Turonian in north-west Europe, and these dates are probably correct for other regions free from ...

Some Lower Turonian Ammonites from Trinidad and Colombia

Geologiska Föreningen i Stockholm Förhandlingar, 1972
Abstract A short description is given of Lower Turonian (Cretaceous) ammonites from Colombia and Trinidad. The agreement already established for the Lower Turonian of these two regions is further strengthened by the finds recorded here. The ranges of Hoplitoides wohltmanni (von Koenen), Neoplychites telingaeformis Solger, and N.
