The two-fluid extended model of superfluid helium [PDF]

open access: yesAtti della Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti : Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali, 2019
In this paper we perform the first numerical comparison between the two main existing models of superfluid helium: the two-fluid model proposed by Landau and the one-fluid extended model proposed from the extended thermodynamics.

On the two-fluid model of the Kondo lattice. [PDF]

open access: yesProc Natl Acad Sci U S A, 2012
The normal state of conduction electrons in metals at low temperatures has been described in terms of the standard theory of a Fermi liquid introduced soon after the advent of quantum mechanics and completed by Landau and others by the middle of the 20th century (1).

Vortex dynamics in the two-fluid model [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2001
We have used two-fluid dynamics to study the discrepancy between the work of Thouless, Ao and Niu (TAN) and that of Iordanskii. In TAN no transverse force on a vortex due to normal fluid flow was found, whereas the earlier work found a transverse force proportional to normal fluid velocity u and normal fluid density.

Anisotropic Cosmological Models with Two Fluids [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2018
Anisotropic dark energy cosmological models have been constructed in a Bianchi V space-time, with the energy momentum tensor consisting of two noninteracting fluids, namely, bulk viscous fluid and dark energy fluid. Two different models are constructed based on the power law cosmology and de Sitter universe. The constructed model was also embedded with

Energy-Conserving Lattice Boltzmann Thermal Model in Two Dimensions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
A discrete velocity model is presented for lattice Boltzmann thermal fluid dynamics. This model is implemented and tested in two dimensions with a finite difference scheme.

Machine Learning Augmented Two-Fluid Model for Segregated Flow

open access: yesFluids, 2021
Segregated flow, including stratified and annular flows, is commonly encountered in several practical applications such as chemical, nuclear, refrigeration, and oil and gas industries.

Comparison of numerical results of turbulence models for the problem of heat transfer in turbulent molasses [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The study introduces Malikov's two-fluid methodology along with the RSM turbulence model for simulating turbulent heat transfer phenomena. It elucidates that temperature fluctuations within turbulent flows arise from temperature differentials between the
