A two-fluid model for backbending [PDF]
A simple two-fluid model of nuclear rotations which can describe the backbending phenomena observed in the rare-earth nuclei is refined. The model is applied to a study of the nuclei 164,166Er68 and 166,168,170Yb70 which provide a very sensitive test. The results obtained are extremely encouraging.

Development of a Two‐Fluid Hydrodynamic Model for a Riser Reactor [PDF]
AbstractANSYS Fluent is used to examine the mixing of catalyst zeolite particles with petroleum feedstock and water vapor in a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) riser. A two‐fluid model is developed for tracking catalyst particles and gas mixture in a riser, modeling the granular and gaseous phases as two interpenetrating continua.

Neutron Star–Dark Matter Admixed Objects in the Mass Gap Region
To this day, the nature of dark matter (DM) remains elusive despite all our efforts. This type of matter has not been directly observed, so we infer its gravitational effect.

A two-phase fluid model for epidemic flow
We propose a new mathematical and computational modeling framework that incorporates fluid dynamics to study the spatial spread of infectious diseases.

Two-Fluid-Model-Based Full Physics Simulations of Mixing in Noncohesive Wet Fluidized Beds
Mixing in a noncohesive wet fluidized bed was studied using the two-fluid model (TFM) and a zero-dimensional (0D) approach. The employed TFM was extended to simulate droplet deposition on the particles, droplet evaporation, and particle drying.

Simulation of Boiling in a Vertical Channel Using Ensemble Average Model [PDF]
Simulation of turbulence boiling, generation of vapour and predication of its behaviour are still subject to debate in the two-phase flow area and they receive a high level of worldwide attention. In this study, a new arrangement of the three dimensional

Generalized Boltzmann kinetic theory for EMMS-based two-fluid model
It has long been recognized that the solid particles in circulating fluidized bed risers are distributed heterogeneously in the form of clusters. In response to this fundamental phenomenon, an EMMS-based two-fluid model has been developed recently from

Two-fluid model for heavy electron physics [PDF]
The two-fluid model is a phenomenological description of the gradual change of the itinerant and local characters of the f-electrons with temperature and other tuning parameters and has been quite successful in explaining many unusual and puzzling experimental observations in heavy electron materials.
