Fendioxypyracil, a new and systemic PPO‐inhibiting herbicide for X‐spectrum weed control

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 7, Page 6794-6807, July 2026.
This graphical abstract presents the discovery and synthesis of PPO herbicide structures with a central pyridine core, showing molecular conformations, dose–response inhibition curves for PPO1 and PPO2, and comparative weed and grass control efficacy of fendioxypyracil versus other herbicides in greenhouse and field trials.

Formal Approach to Safety‐Driven Dynamic Procedure Modeling

open access: yesSystems Engineering, Volume 29, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Ensuring the safety of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) is a growing concern as the number of UAS grows increasingly fast. Regulatory bodies are in the process of tackling this problem by issuing standards and recommendations to be met by UAS designers.

Rapid generation of prion disease models using AAV‐delivered PrP variants in knockout mice

open access: yesBrain Pathology, Volume 36, Issue 4, July 2026.
We developed a rapid AAV‐based system to generate prion disease models in weeks rather than months. Following systemic AAV9P31 delivery of modified PrP to knockout mice, we achieved brain‐wide expression and successful propagation of both classical (RML) and atypical (GSS‐A117V) prion strains.

Flower Roundabouts And Double-Lane Roundabouts: A Comparative Performance Analysis

open access: yesArchives of Civil Engineering, 2014
In the paper, a choice criterion between flower roundabouts and double-lane roundabouts is proposed, focusing on operational benefits that can derive from one scheme over the other, and outlining a general framework for benefit-cost analysis. In order to

Exercise Training Stimulates the Release of Glutathione Peroxidase 1 (GPX1)‐Enriched Extracellular Vesicles That Promote Angiogenesis

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 12, 30 June 2026.
Exercise Training Stimulates the Release of Glutathione Peroxidase 1 (GPX1)‐Enriched Extracellular Vesicles that Promote Angiogenesis. The results from this study suggest that EVs isolated from blood immediately after the last bout of endurance exercise training (ExerV) are enriched in antioxidants. ExerVs stimulate vascular growth both in vitro and in

Comparative Study of Signal Control Models for Roundabouts

open access: yesIEEE Access
Traffic signal is one of the control approaches used for roundabouts. Although many models are used for signalized roundabouts, studies involving their comparative analysis are insufficient.

Using a Microsimulation Traffic Model and the Vehicle-Specific Power Method to Assess Turbo-Roundabouts as Environmentally Sustainable Road Design Solutions

open access: yesFuture Transportation
The European Union’s path towards zero carbon dioxide emissions for new passenger vehicles necessitates a transitional period in which conventional vehicles coexist with zero-emission alternatives.
