Fluorogenic Sydnones for Bioorthogonal Labeling of DNA
Conjugates of sydnones with cyanine‐styryl dyes combine bioorthogonal reactivity with fluorogenicity. The reactivity with bicyclo[6.1.0]non‐4‐yne (BCN)‐modified DNA showed second‐order rate constants of up to k2 = 2,300 M−1s−1 and fluorescence turn‐on by one magnitude of order.

Investigation on Two-Stop-Line Signalized Roundabout: Capacity and Optimal Cycle Length
Two-stop-line signalized roundabouts (TSLSR) are widely utilized in China. To calculate the capacity and optimal cycle length accurately, a model considering internal space constraint of the roundabout is developed in this paper. Firstly, the operational

Simulation and analysis of road construction traffic flow in urban road networks
Road construction is an important source of occasional urban road network traffic congestion. In this article, a new cellular automaton model is proposed to simulate road construction traffic flow in urban two-way-six-lane network systems with roundabout

Looking for Trouble: Pre‐Intervention Monitoring in Human and AI Driver Training
We compare two types of situations involving monitoring of car driving: a driving instructor overseeing a trainee driver and a safety driver overseeing the performance of autonomous vehicle (AV) software. Our focus is on instances of monitoring that precede (1) interventions that are aborted before impacting the driving and (2) actual interventions on ...

Abstract Advances in DNA technology have significantly enhanced the forensic community's ability to develop genetic profiles from unidentified human skeletal remains. However, sampling requires mechanical grinding of hard tissues before DNA isolation. This processing can compromise genetic profiles, particularly in aged bones.
