Ability of TyG Index as a Marker of Insulin Resistance in Argentinean School Children
ObjectiveTo determine if the triglycerides and glucose index (TyG) can be used as a marker for insulin resistance (IR) in Argentinean schoolchildren according to age and sex.MethodsAnthropometric data, blood glucose levels, lipid profiles, and insulin levels were measured.

Approximation results for reflectionless Jacobi matrices [PDF]
We study spaces of reflectionless Jacobi matrices. The main theme is the following type of question: Given a reflectionless Jacobi matrix, is it possible to approximate it by other reflectionless and, typically, simpler Jacobi matrices of a special type?

Unsupervised clustering of 295 Japanese adults with impaired glucose tolerance identified three distinct prediabetes subtypes based on HbA1c, HOMA‐β, HOMA‐IR, and HDL‐cholesterol. These subtypes showed different risks of developing type 2 diabetes and varied responses to lifestyle intervention over 6 years.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: Pathogenesis, health consequences, and treatment of PCOS in relation to insulin resistance [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to present a review of the current research on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). PCOS is one of the most common endocrine disorders in women of reproductive age, affecting 5-10% of the population. Despite its prevalence, PCOS

Elevated TyG‐Age significantly increases the risk of heart failure in diabetic patients. Furthermore, combining TyG‐Age with the TRS‐HFDM score greatly enhances predictive capability and mortality risk assessment for these patients. ABSTRACT Background Patients with diabetes are at an increased risk of heart failure.

Background: Polycystic Ovary Disease Syndrome (PCOS) and NAFLD are interlinked with the common culprit i.e. Insulin resistance (IR). The triglyceride and glucose index (TyG) has been recommended as a reliable and simple surrogate index for IR. So we evaluated TyG index, TyG–BMI index as a marker of IR and its correlation with liver transaminases (ALT ...

ABSTRACT Outbreaks of vibriosis caused by Vibrio anguillarum are a persistent constraint on rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) aquaculture. However, information on the population structure of field strains in Turkey has been lacking. Here, we report the first systematic serotypic, proteomic, and genomic characterization of 23 V.
