Statistical Inference for the Entropy of the Transmuted Weibull Distribution Under Progressive Type-II Censored Samples [PDF]
EntropyThis paper investigates statistical inference for the Shannon entropy of the Transmuted Weibull Distribution under progressively Type-II censored samples. The Transmuted Weibull Distribution is obtained by applying the quadratic rank transmutation map to

Estimation of the Unknown Parameters of the Generalized Burr Distribution [PDF]
The Egyptian Statistical Journal, 1992 Bayesian and non-Bayesian methods of estimation are used to make inferences given a random sample of observations from a generalized Burr distribution (GBD).

Bayesian Estimation Based on Progressively Type-II Censored Samples from Compound Rayleigh Distribution [PDF]
Journal of Statistical Theory and Applications (JSTA), 2015 This paper considers inference under progressive type-II censoring scheme with a compound Rayleigh failure time distribution. The maximum likelihood (ML) and the Bayes estimators for the two unknown parameters of the compound Rayleigh distribution (CRD ...

On the Omega Distribution: Some Properties and Estimation
Mathematics, 2021 We obtain explicit expressions for single and product moments of the order statistics of an omega distribution. We also discuss seven methods to estimate the omega parameters.

On Progressive Type-II Censored Samples from Alpha Power Exponential Distribution
Journal of Mathematics, 2020 In this paper the two-parameter α-power exponential distribution is studied. We study the two-parameter α-power exponential μ,λ distribution with the location parameter μ>0 and scale parameter λ>0 under progressive Type-II censored data with fixed shape ...
