In a previous experiment, 6 newly weaned baby Macaca mulatta monkeys were each inoculated subserosally with typhoid-paratyphoid vaccine in a typhoid-paratyphoid-colon bacillus filtrate (enteric toxin) over a period of five months before being inoculated with poliomyelitis virus.
