P27Kip1 (p27) can prevent cell proliferation by inactivating cyclin-dependent kinases. This function is impaired upon phosphorylation of p27 at tyrosine residue 88. We observed that FLT3 and FLT3-ITD can directly bind and selectively phosphorylate p27 on

In luminal (ER+) breast carcinoma (BC), miRNA profiling identified miR‐195‐5p as a key regulator of proliferation that targets CHEK1, CDC25A, and CCNE1. High CHEK1 expression correlates with worse relapse‐free survival after chemotherapy, especially in patients with luminal A subtype.

Small extracellular vesicles are a promising source of diagnostic molecules. We conducted a comprehensive study, including transcriptome profiling and RT‐qPCR validation on large cohorts of samples. Diagnostic panels enabling sensitive detection of colorectal cancer and precancerous lesions were established. Some molecules were differentially expressed

“Liquid elbows” due to afatinib administration
Non-small cell lung cancer adenocarcinoma in the past decade has targeted therapies as the cornerstone for therapy. In specific patients with epidermal growth factor receptor mutation have three different therapy approaches with the tyrosine kinase ...

Proteomic and phosphoproteomic analyses were performed on lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tumors with EGFR, KRAS, or EML4–ALK alterations and wild‐type cases. Distinct protein expression and phosphorylation patterns were identified, especially in EGFR‐mutated tumors. Key altered pathways included vesicle transport and RNA splicing.

The role of circular RNAs in regulating cytokine signaling in cancer
Cytokines present in the tumor microenvironment fuel cancer development. Aberrant expression of circRNAs contributes to cancer progression. Cytokines are involved in regulating circRNA biogenesis. Furthermore, aberrantly expressed circRNAs regulate the expression of ligands, receptors, and downstream effectors involved in cytokine signaling to promote ...
