Series of Microporous Redox‐Active Pillared Metal–Organic Frameworks Based On Alloxazine Ligands

Two series of robust pillared metal–organic frameworks using a redoactive ligand based on alloxazine and transition metals have been evidenced by XRD. The compounds have high decomposition temperatures, and their sorption properties are measured, revealing relatively low surface areas and a moderate uptake of CO2 and C2H4 at high pressures.

The ultra‐alkaline condition of a hydroflux facilitate the synthesis of a new periodato cuprate(II). Fully deprotonated orthoperiodate octahedra are connected into chains by copper(II) cations. The two modifications differ in the constitution of these chains, which influences the magnetism of the compounds.

This study demonstrates polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) nanocomposite thin films incorporating ZnO and TiO2 nanoparticles, optimized using response surface methodology. The films exhibit tunable refractive index, high transparency, low optical loss, and sub‐MPa mechanical compliance.
