Nurturing Digital Government Reform: Nuggets of Wisdom From a Global Frontrunner

open access: yesInformation Systems Journal, Volume 36, Issue 2, Page 214-229, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Government reform initiatives increasingly incorporate significant digital elements. This article builds on successful, long‐term Danish experiences with digital government reform and offers “nuggets of wisdom” to policymakers, organisations, and countries wishing to advance such reform. In international surveys, Denmark is consistently ranked

Reconstructing Late Pleistocene to Prehistorical Holocene Geomagnetic Field Variations From La Palma Lava Flows (Canary Islands, Spain): Unraveling Viscous Components

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract We present new vector paleomagnetic data from 13 radiometrically dated lava‐flows in southern La Palma (Canary Islands) spanning from 1 to 56 ka, which covers most of the Late Pleistocene to prehistoric Holocene volcanic record in the island.

Shedding Light on the Precatalytic Mixture of Pd(OAc)2 and Cooperating Bipyridone Ligands for the C─H Functionalization of Arenes

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 1, 15 January 2026.
The reactions of the common palladium precursors Pd(OAc)2 and PdCl2 and cooperating bipyridone ligands leads to well defined complexes which are general precatalysts for the direct C─H arylation of arenes, more active than Pd(OAc)2/ligand mixtures in nonpolar solvents.

iNaturalist projects represent a valuable resource for aggregating plant observations and engaging society: A case study of the Flora of Mongolia project

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, Volume 8, Issue 1, Page 26-37, January 2026.
Citizen science – collaboration between scientists and the public – has the potential to advance biodiversity monitoring. Using a case study from Mongolia, called the Flora of Mongolia project in iNaturalist, we illustrate how crowd‐sourced biodiversity data fills gaps of plant diversity in Mongolia.

Longitudinal Weight Gain Trajectories After Initiation of Dolutegravir‐Based Antiretroviral Therapy: A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesAIDS Research and Treatment, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Dolutegravir (DTG) is widely used in antiretroviral therapy (ART) for its high efficacy and favorable tolerability. However, emerging evidence has raised concerns regarding weight gain and potential metabolic consequences associated with DTG use, with limited longitudinal data from Asian populations.

Five Frontiers for Science and Practice of Ecosystem Restoration in East African Forest Landscapes 东非森林景观生态系统恢复的科学与实践:五大前沿

open access: yesIntegrative Conservation, Volume 4, Issue 4, Page 534-545, December 2025.
Implementing ecosystem restoration remains challenging for policymakers and practitioners. Focusing on Rwanda, we used a participatory world‐café approach involving scientists, practitioners, and decision‐makers working on ecosystem restoration to identify emerging challenges and future research priority areas. We identified five critical frontiers for

Heisenberg‐smooth operators from the phase‐space perspective

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 298, Issue 8, Page 2845-2866, August 2025.
Abstract Cordes' characterization of Heisenberg‐smooth operators bridges a gap between the theory of pseudo‐differential operators and quantum harmonic analysis (QHA). We give a new proof of the result by using the phase‐space formalism of QHA. Our argument is flexible enough to generalize Cordes' result in several directions: (1) we can admit general ...

Time to (Re‐)think‐Feel ‘Quality’ in Higher Education Learning and Teaching

open access: yesHigher Education Quarterly, Volume 79, Issue 3, July 2025.
ABSTRACT This article proposes (re‐)thinking‐feeling the current Western‐centric metrics‐driven measurement of ‘quality’ in learning and teaching in higher education. We argue that ensuring ‘quality’ in learning and teaching is an undeniable imperative, as it not only cultivates possibilities for students to think critically and engage imaginatively in
