Abstract In this study, we focused on contents described in the ‘Ansei period Komagome Fuji Shrine area map and illustration’. We verified the contents of the ‘Ansei period map’ and considered the aspects of gardeners' farmland in this area. Consequently, the following findings were obtained. (1) Most of the farmers in this area also work as gardeners.
