Cu2ZnSnS4 thin films deposition by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis

Abstract Cu 2 ZnSnS 4 (CZTS) thin films were deposited by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique. The substrate temperature was varied from 280 to 360 °C in order to investigate its influence on CZTS films properties. The deposition rate shows two activation energies 0.16 and 0.53 eV, respectively at low and high substrate temperatures. This indicates

YAG:Ce phosphor particles prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis

Abstract Spray pyrolysis was applied to the preparation of fine YAG:Ce phosphor particles. The characteristics of particles such as crystallinity, morphology, and photoluminescence were investigated. Phase-pure YAG:Ce particles with high crystallinity were obtained after annealing at lower temperatures than those of conventional preparation processes.

Nanostructured phosphorous tungsten bronzes from ultrasonic spray pyrolysis

Abstract Ultrasonic spray pyrolysis has been used to obtain fine spherical powders of WPA bronzes from a 29-tungstenphosphoric acid (WPA-29) feed solution. The average grain size of the obtained powder particles is ca. 1000 nm; these consist of subparticles in the 30–80 nm range.

Abstract Small crystallites LiFePO 4 powder with conducting carbon coating can be synthesized by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis. Cheaper trivalent iron ion is used as the precursor. The pure olivine phase can be prepared with the duplex process of spray pyrolysis (synthesized at 450, 550 or 650 °C) and subsequent heat-treatment (at 650 °C for 4 h).

Tin oxide thin films deposited by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis

This study investigated microstructure of SnO 2 thin films deposited by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique using 0.2 M of SnCl 4 ·5H 2 O in absolute ethanol as a precursor. The deposition temperature (350-450 °C) and time (20-90 min) were varied. The influence of film-deposition conditions on grain size and orientation were discussed.

Thin films of ZnO:M synthesized by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis

High optical quality ZnO:M@Si nanocomposites (where M is the doping element) were obtained by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis. The variation of experimental conditions, the use of various precursors and dopants demonstrated that the morphology of zinc oxide nanoparticles is mainly determined by the sort of the doping element.
