Surface Discharge Analysis of High Voltage Glass Insulators Using Ultraviolet Pulse Voltage
Surface discharges are precursors to flashover. To pre-empt the occurrence of flashover incidents, utility companies need to regularly monitor the condition of line insulators.

We present the cellular transcription‐coupled Flp‐nick system allowing the introduction of a Top1‐mimicking cleavage complex (Flpcc) at a Flp recognition target site within a controllable LacZ gene. LacZ transcription leads to the collision of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) with Flpcc, and this causes RNAPII stalling, ubiquitination, and degradation.

The Local Interstellar Ultraviolet Radiation Field [PDF]
I have used the Hipparcos Input Catalog, together with Kurucz model stellar atmospheres, and information on the strength of the interstellar extinction, to create a model of the expected intensity and spectral distribution of the local interstellar ultraviolet radiation field, under various assumptions concerning the albedo a of the interstellar grains.

Ultraviolet Properties of N = 8 Supergravity at Five Loops [PDF]
We use the recently developed generalized double-copy construction to obtain an improved representation of the five-loop four-point integrand of $N = 8$ supergravity whose leading ultraviolet behavior we analyze using state of the art loop-integral expansion and reduction methods.
