Ultraviolet Passbands for a Space Multicolor Photometric System
The results of search for the optimal location of ultraviolet passbands for an extra-atmospheric photometric system are given. The addition of passbands near the well-known extinction bump at 218 nm to the photometric system makes it possible to ...

The variation of interstellar extinction in the ultraviolet [PDF]

Peculiar ultraviolet interstellar extinction
In connection with investigations of the physical characteristics of interstellar dust, a study of objects with peculiar extinction might provide new insights about the composition, size distribution, formation, and destruction of the particulate matter. Meyer and Savage (1981) have found that the dust toward many stars exhibits peculiar UV extinction.

An analysis of the shapes of ultraviolet extinction curves. II - The far-UV extinction [PDF]
In this paper the properties of interstellar extinction in the far-ultraviolet region are examined utilizing IUE extinction curves for a primary data sample of 45 reddened Milky Way OB stars. These results are combined with those derived for the 2175 A bump in a previous study.
