Microfluidic coaxial extrusion generates size‐controlled 3D lymphatic tubes from primary human dermal lymphatic endothelial cells in a defined four‐component matrix. These engineered vessels self‐organize into stable lymphatic endothelium, maintain selective macromolecular permeability for 30 days, and enable direct comparison with blood endothelial ...

Critical and umbilical points of a non-Gaussian random field
Random fields in nature often have, to a good approximation, Gaussian characteristics. For such fields, the number of maxima and minima are the same. Furthermore, the relative densities of umbilical points, topological defects which can be classified into three types, have certain fixed values.

Timelike hypersurfaces in de Sitter space and Legendrian singularities [PDF]
We construct a basic framework for the study of extrinsic differential geometry on timelike hypersurfaces from the view point of the theory of Legendrian singularities.

Microgel‐based 3D printed constructs represent a compelling and versatile innovation for engineering architecturally complex, dynamically remodelable, and biocompatible structures with high structural fidelity and bioactivity. By integrating material design, biofabrication, and biological function, these systems enable the development of adaptive ...

Pairs of geometric foliations of regular and singular surfaces [PDF]
We examine some generic features of surfaces in the Euclidean 3-space $\mathbb{R}^3$ related to the Gauss map on the surface. We consider these features on smooth surfaces and on singular surfaces with a cross-cap singularity.

Natural Biomaterials for Osteochondral Repair: From Source to Strategy
Biological origin‐guided overview of natural biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for osteochondral tissue engineering. The circular diagram categorizes representative materials and strategies into plant/algae‐derived, microbial‐derived, animal‐derived, and human‐derived sources, centered on an osteochondral defect repair model.

Umbilic points and Real hyperquadrics
We show a refined version of the existence and uniqueness theorem to Chern-Moser normal form. The class of nondegenerate real hypersurfaces in normal form has a natural group action. Umbilic point is defined via normal form. Nondegenerate analytic real hypersurfaces are locally biholomorphic to a real hyperquadric whenever every point is umbilic in ...

Topological events on wave dislocation lines: birth and death of small loops, and reconnection
In three-dimensional space, a wave dislocation, that is, a quantized (optical) vortex or phase singularity, is a line zero of a complex scalar wavefunction.

SPARC (spatio‐chimeric, plasma‐based, anisotropic, and shear‐responsive construct) that integrates myogenic and vascular microenvironments within a single construct. The dual‐modulus matrix directs aligned myotube formation and endothelial network development, enabling a vascularized muscle implant that seamlessly anastomoses with host tissue and ...

Nonstrictly Hyperbolic Conservation Laws
Global existence of a 2 × 2 system of nonstrictly hyperbolic conservation laws is established for data in L∞. This system is a particular case in a canonical class of conservation laws with an isolated umbilic point (a point in the state space where ...
