How is Nanoarchitectonics Shaping Extracellular Vesicle Research?

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The convergence of nanoarchitectonics and extracellular vesicle biology is reshaping next‐generation nanomedicine by enabling rationally designed nanostructures for enhanced EVs detection, engineering, and therapy. ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have gained recognition as crucial mediators of cell‐to‐cell communication, holding immense potential

Plasma Gelation as an Overlooked Determinant of Transfection Efficiency in Protein Corona‐Coated Lipid Nanoparticles: Implications for In Vitro–In Vivo Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Upon contact with plasma, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) rapidly acquire a protein corona (PC) that redefines their biological identity. In calcium‐containing environments, these coronated particles trigger the formation of a gel‐like plasma network, profoundly altering their transport properties and reducing their effective availability.

Near‐Infrared Light‐Activated Polydopamine Nanoparticles Conjugated With Transferrin Peptides for Enhanced Brain Accumulation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that Tf‐PDA NPs combine a receptor‐mediated targeting with mild photothermal activation to enhance nanoparticle accumulation in the brain. NIR‐activated Tf‐PDA NPs increase BBB permeability to NPs in vitro and in vivo without inducing cytotoxicity or adverse immune responses.

Well posedness for one class of elliptic equations with drift

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2023
We studied one class of second-order elliptic equations with intermediate coefficient and proved that the semi-periodic problem on a strip is unique solvable in Hilbert space.

Two parabolic inverse problems for an equation with unbounded zero-order coefficient [PDF]

open access: yes
This work is composed of two parts. We prove in the first part the uniqueness of the determination of the unbounded zero-order coefficient in a parabolic equation from boundary measurements.

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.
