The Cădariu-Radu Method for Existence, Uniqueness and Gauss Hypergeometric Stability of Ω-Hilfer Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
Using the Cădariu–Radu method derived from the Diaz–Margolis theorem, we study the existence, uniqueness and Gauss hypergeometric stability of Ω-Hilfer fractional differential equations defined on compact domains.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Unbounded Poincaré domains

open access: yesAnnales Academiae Scientiarum Fennicae Series A I Mathematica, 1992
The paper deals with Poincaré inequalities of type \[ \inf_{a\in\mathbb{R}} \| u-a\mid L_ q(D)\|\leq c\|\nabla u\mid L_ p(D)\|, \qquad 1-{n\over p}=-{n\over q}, \] \(1\leq ...

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Hodge operator and asymmetric fluid in unbounded domains

open access: yesRevista Integración, 2009
A system of equations modeling the stationary flow of an incompressible asymmetric fluid is studied for bounded domains of an arbitrary form. Based on the methods of Clifford analysis, we write the system of asymmetric fluid in the hypercomplex ...

Spectrally adapted physics-informed neural networks for solving unbounded domain problems

open access: yesMachine Learning: Science and Technology, 2023
Solving analytically intractable partial differential equations (PDEs) that involve at least one variable defined on an unbounded domain arises in numerous physical applications.

Numerical computation of the conformal map onto lemniscatic domains

open access: yes, 2015
We present a numerical method for the computation of the conformal map from unbounded multiply-connected domains onto lemniscatic domains. For $\ell$-times connected domains the method requires solving $\ell$ boundary integral equations with the Neumann ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
