On a nonolinear wave equation in unbounded domains
We study existence and uniqeness of the nonlinear wave equation∂2u∂t2+M(x,∫|∇u(x,t)|2dx+∫|u(x,t)|2dx)(−Δu+u)=0in unbounded domains. The above model describes nonlinear wave phenomenon in non-homogeneous media.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Dapagliflozin prevents methylglyoxal‐induced retinal cell death in ARPE‐19 cells
Diabetic macular oedema is a diabetes complication of the eye, which may lead to permanent blindness. ARPE‐19 are human retinal cells used to study retinal diseases and potential therapeutics. Methylglyoxal is a compound increased in uncontrolled diabetes due to elevated blood glucose.

On solutions of elliptic equations with nonpower nonlinearities in unbounded domains
The paper highlighted some class of anisotropic elliptic equations of second order in divergence form with younger members with nonpower nonlinearities $$ \sum\limits_{\alpha=1}^{n}(a_{\alpha}({\bf x},u,\nabla u))_{x_{\alpha}}-a_0({\bf x},u,\nabla u)=0. $

Rellich type theorems for unbounded domains
We give several generalizations of Rellich's classical uniqueness theorem to unbounded domains. We give a natural half-space generalization for super-exponentially decaying inhomogeneities using real variable techniques. We also prove under super-exponential decay a discrete generalization where the inhomogeneity only needs to vanish in a suitable cone.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

A remark on reaction-diffusion equations in unbounded domains
We prove the existence of a compact L^2-H^1 attractor for a reaction-diffusion equation in R^n. This improves a previous result of B. Wang concerning the existence of a compact L^2-L^2 attractor for the same equation.Comment: 6 pages; to appear on "Discr.
