The evaluation of potential for the exploration and development of coalbed methane resources based on an improved uncertainty measure optimization model

open access: yesEnergy Exploration & Exploitation, 2019
The recognition criteria of credible degree in uncertainty measure theory are improved based on the concept of distance discriminant and used to evaluate the potential for exploration and development of coalbed methane.

Epigenetic reprogramming of lineage switching in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cancer cells rarely commit to a single identity. Epigenetic mechanisms and tumor microenvironment cues push epithelial cells toward flexible, hybrid states that can shift into mesenchymal, neuroendocrine, or stem‐like fates, driving metastasis, drug resistance, and tumor heterogeneity. Targeting the epigenetic regulators behind these transitions, using

Complex Fermatean Neutrosophic Sets and their Applications in Decision Making [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
Complex Neutrosophic Sets have emerged as a groundbreaking paradigm for handling uncertainty in complex-valued variables. By defining truth, indeterminacy, and falsity membership functions within the unit circle of the complex plane, this innovative ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

A New Uncertainty Measure of Covering-Based Rough Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Since some existing uncertainty measurement of covering-based rough intuitionistic fuzzy sets (CRIFSs) are unreasonable in some cases, an extended uncertainty measure criterion of CRIFSs is proposed. The discussion of the monotonicity of the criterion is
