[Retracted] Healthcare and Scientific Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis
Knee osteoarthritis is a chronic degenerative disease companied with chronic knee pain and dysfunction. However, the etiology and pathogenesis of knee osteoarthritis were unclear. Currently, age, diet, trauma, obesity, and inheritance are the main risk factors. The major pathological hallmarks of knee osteoarthritis included subchondral bone sclerosis,

Abstract Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a cryptogenic vascular disorder in the intracranial arteries. RING protein 213 (RNF213) is the susceptibility gene for MMD, and encodes a RING domain and a Walker motif. Herein, we identified UBC13 (UBE2N) as an E2 ubiquitin‐conjugating enzyme for RNF213 E3 ubiquitin ligase by yeast two‐hybrid screening with a ...

Backpain and pain in the limbs are often associate with the destruction of the cartilage and bone tissue of the joint, which affects the nerve terminals and leads to an exacerbation of pain symptoms (as happens, for example, in osteoarthritis).

Cow's Milk Positively Impacts Bone Formation by Regulating the Osteocalcin Pathway Compared to Transgenic and Non-Transgenic Soy-Based Beverages in BALB/c Mice. [PDF]
Comparison of the effects of cow's milk and transgenic soy‐based beverages on bone health in BALB/c mice. Cow's milk promoted higher trabecular density; improved bone structure; and increased osteocalcin, calcium, and phosphorus levels. The non‐transgenic soy beverage led to reduced cortical thickness and increased diaphysis diameter, while the ...

The Study of undenatured type II collagen in the knee osteoarthri [PDF]
Introduction: Medical management of osteoarthritis has evovlved considerably over last two decades. The purpose of the present study was to asses the outcome of collagen type II IN osteoarthritis of knee joint. Methods: one hundred randomly selected patients who received a daily dose of UC-II (40 mg) for 120 days.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common cause of pain and disability in adults. Dietary supplements such as undenatured type II collagen (UC-II) have shown to have some benefits in OA treatment. This study aimed to assess changes in pain levels among knee OA patients treated with UC-II for 6 months.

Efficacy of undenatured and hydrolyzed type II collagen in the treatment of pain syndrome
Collagens play an important structural role and contribute to the mechanical properties, organization and shape of tissues. In musculoskeletal system diseases (MSD), the amount of type II collagen in the cartilage extracellular matrix significantly decreases. Degradation and reduction of type II collagen are associated with osteoarthritis (OA).
