Autonomous Underwater Riser Inspection Tool
2010 8th International Pipeline Conference, Volume 3, 2010The inspection of the vertical section of an offshore pipeline, known as the riser, plays a critical part of any integrity management program. This section connects the pipe that runs on the seabed to the production facility, be it a floating platform or a FPSO.

Electromagnetic Inspection Underwater
1986The examination of materials by electromagnetic methods is one of the most interesting aspects of scientific application. It is particularly appropriate to the application of such tests under water, as the magnetic effects are in no way diminished below the surface of seas or oceans.

Towards Underwater Inspection Using AUVs
at - Automatisierungstechnik, 2015Abstract AUVs – Autonomous Underwater Vehicles have reached a state of maturity that allows bringing them into applications beyond research. Still being a new “toy” in the toolbox for offshore work the market is somewhat reluctant to employ these robots due to missing field prove.

Underwater pipeline and cable inspection using autonomous underwater vehicles
2013 MTS/IEEE OCEANS - Bergen, 2013To ensure their continuing integrity, the state of pipelines and cables needs to be monitored regularly. Divers, towfish ore remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs), which are traditionally used for cable & pipeline inspection, are time and human resources intensive.

Underwater inspection of offshore structures
Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Section B. Biological Sciences, 1978SynopsisUnder the Offshore Installations (Construction and Survey) Regulations 1974 all structures established or maintained in UK waters must possess a valid certificate of fitness. To obtain this certificate annual visual inspections of parts of the structure must be carried out both above and below water.

Underwater Inspection and Surveys Using Computer Management
SPE Offshore Europe, 1985ABSTRACT Mandatory underwater inspection programmes are expensive and generate large volumes of report material. Computer based systems have been developed to provide more efficient and flexible planning of these programmes, to facilitate report production and, most significantly to allow the management of the results of such inspections

Statistički pokazatelji ukazuju da je najčešći uzrok oštećenja i rušenja mostova djelovanje vode. Učešće toga uzroka je oko 50 %. U uvjetima kada mostovi s dijelom svoje konstrukcije zadiru u protočni profil aluvijalnih vodotoka u interakciji s vodom izazivaju lokalne promjene na koritu.
