Effect on the Stresses and Strains within Pavements Due to Uneven Settlements of Subgrade

Aiming at the situation that the failure mechanism of pavement structure is difficult to be analyzed under the condition of uneven settlement of soft soil foundation, the finite element model of the mechanical response of asphalt concrete pavement is established by introducing the method of numerical analysis.

A Bifunctional T3SS‐Effector Simultaneously Cleaves Host MAP Kinase and Inhibits PPM1A Phosphatase

Pathogenic bacteria exploit the metalloprotease effector NleD to subvert host defenses. Structural, biochemical, and infection analyses reveal a bifunctional mechanism by which NleD binds and inhibits the host phosphatase PPM1A while preserving its proteolytic activity against MAPKs.

DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics

This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Mapping the “Supply–Demand–Flow” of Ecosystem Services for Ecosystem Management in China
