Uniform Consistency for Nonparametric Estimators in Null Recurrent Time Series [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper establishes several results for uniform convergence of nonparametric kernel density and regression estimates for the case where the time series regressors concerned are nonstationary null–recurrent Markov chains.

Convergence-Preserving Function Sequences and Uniform Convergence

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1999
Consider a sequence of real-valued functions \(\{f_k, k\geq 1\}\) defined on a closed subset \(S\) of the real line. This sequence is called convergence-preserving on \(S\) if \(\{f_k(t_k), k\geq 1\}\) is convergent for every convergent sequence \(\{t_k\} \subset S\). The main result shows that \(\{f_k\}\) is convergence-preserving on a closed interval

Enhancing CoFe Catalysts with V2CTX MXene‐Derived Materials for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MXene dervied CoFe composites show increased initial Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) activity compared to the pure CoFe and MXene in an Anion Exchange Membrane device. Vanadium vacancies in the MXene plays a role in increased OER activity and hinders Fe leaching in the AEM device over using the pure V2C MXene as a support material for the CoFe ...

An efficient numerical method for 2D elliptic singularly perturbed systems with different magnitude parameters in the diffusion and the convection terms, part Ⅱ

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
This work is the continuation of [11], where a two-dimensional elliptic singularly perturbed weakly system, for which small parameters affected both the diffusion and the convection terms, was solved; moreover, all perturbation parameters could have ...

Topologies between compact and uniform convergence on function spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1993
This paper studies two topologies on the set of all continuous real-valued functions on a Tychonoff space which lie between the topologies of compact convergence and uniform convergence.

Maximum Entropy on Compact Groups

open access: yesEntropy, 2009
In a compact group the Haar probability measure plays the role of uniform distribution. The entropy and rate distortion theory for this uniform distribution is studied.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

On the convergence of multidimensional S-fractions with independent variables

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2018
In this paper, we investigate the convergence of multidimensional S-fractions with independent variables, which are a multidimensional generalization of S-fractions.

Uniform topologies on types [PDF]

open access: yes
We study the robustness of interim correlated rationalizability to perturbations of higher-order beliefs. We introduce a new metric topology on the universal type space, called uniform weak topology, under which two types are close if they have similar ...

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...
