On the geometry of the unit ball of a C*- algebra.
The paper attempts to extend notions and results for finite \(C^*\)- algebras to the infinite case by considering arbitrary extreme points of the unit ball instead of unitaries and, analogously, by considering quasi-invertibles, as defined in the paper, instead of invertibles.

An effective strategy is developed to overcome the medium temperatures wear resistance degradation in refractory multi‐principal element alloys. By utilizing chemical short‐range ordering to trigger oxygen‐induced amorphization, a composite oxide structure is formed, which combines high hardness with robust stiffness.

单位球上βP空间到Zα型空间的加权Cesàro算子(Extended Cesàro operators from βP spaces to Zα spaces on the unit ball)
Boundary and compact of extended Cesàro operators from βP spaces to Zygmund type space in the unit ball are studied. With the methods of functional analysis and several complex variables, the necessary and sufficient conditions are given for extended ...

Intersection properties of the unit ball [PDF]
Let $X$ be a real Banach space with the closed unit ball $B_X$ and the dual $X^{*}$. We say that $X$ has the {em intersection property} $I$ ({em general intersection property} $GI$, respectively) if, for each countable family (for each family ...

Ultrasmall High‐Entropy Materials: Nanoscale Effects, Synthesis, and Mechanistic Insights
This review article focuses on sub‐10 nm high‐entropy materials that combine nanoscale design with complex compositions for next‐generation applications. ABSTRACT Ultrasmall high‐entropy nanomaterials (USHENMs, <10 nm) merge multicomponent chemistry with size‐dependent effects, forming a distinct class of materials with unprecedented properties.

The Essential Norm of the Generalized Hankel Operators on the Bergman Space of the Unit Ball in Cn
In 1993, Peloso introduced a kind of operators on the Bergman space A2(B) of the unit ball that generalizes the classical Hankel operator. In this paper, we estimate the essential norm of the generalized Hankel operators on the Bergman space Ap(B) (p>1)
