Monogenic Wavelets Over the Unit Ball
Zeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 2005In this article we de ne a monogenic wavelet transform for quaternion valued functions on the unit ball B in R3 based on representations of the group of Mobius transformations which maps the unit ball onto itself.

Abstract The convex bodies generated by the union of the unit ball of l n 1 and one rotation of this ball are studied. It is shown that the Banach-Mazur distance between such bodies and the basis constant, admit a sharp lower estimate, when rotations are chosen at random.

On Packings of Congruent Balls in the Unit Ball
1987Let (X, ) be an infinite-dimensional real or complex inner product space. If I ≠O, r ∈ IR+: = (0,∞), uj ∈ X (for all j ∈ I), uj ≠ uk for j ≠ k, then the family (Br(uj): j ∈I) of open r-balls with centers uj is said to be packable ...

On capacitated covering with unit balls
International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 2014In this paper, we consider the problem of capacitated covering with unit balls. In this problem, a set of weighted points in a metric space is given, and we want to cover them with a minimum number of the unit balls of that metric space provided that the total weight assigned to each unit ball is at most one.

Harmonic Analysis on the Unit Ball
2013Unlike the unit sphere, the unit ball is a domain that has a boundary. The boundary usually makes analysis on the domain more difficult. It turns out, however, that analysis on the unit ball is closely related to analysis on the unit sphere. Indeed, a large portion of harmonic analysis on the unit ball can be deduced from its counterparts on the sphere.

The United States: Booting the Ball?
1996By 1970, the US financial system was already reacting to the initial shocks of globalization. London’s expanding eurodollar markets became an alternative to US domestic financial markets for large corporations as interest rates rose with the inflation sparked by the Viet Nam War. The tightly segmented US financial services sector operated under various

Multi local invariants on real unit balls
1999The author considers invariants for the real Möbius transformations acting on the real hyperbolic unit ball \(\mathbb R^n\). He also constructs multilocal invariants at several distinct points in the interior and/or at the boundary. In the first place there is a detailed study of invariant functions and vector fields at various orders (zero, first and ...
