Polar Decomposition And Dense Similarity To Unitary Operators
1993Prigogine and Misra have shown that any K-dynamical system is densely similar to a Markov process converging to equilibrium. In their construction the self-adjoint operator realizing the dense similarity is a function of the positive part of the polar form of the Markov operator. In this work we show that this property holds in a very general framework.
