Transient oligomers formed by intrinsically disordered proteins may be ‘invisible’ to direct detection yet remain accessible to solution NMR through equilibrium‐exchange measurements and pressure‐jump experiments. Complementary methods report on mass, stoichiometry, selected distance distributions, morphology, and internal packing.

The learning dynamics of a universal approximator [PDF]
The learning properties of a universal approximator, a normalized committee machine with adjustable biases, are studied for on-line back-propagation learning. Within a statistical mechanics framework, numerical studies show that this model has features which do not exist in previously studied two-layer network models without adjustable biases, e.g ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Universal Approximation with Deep Narrow Networks
The classical Universal Approximation Theorem holds for neural networks of arbitrary width and bounded depth. Here we consider the natural `dual' scenario for networks of bounded width and arbitrary depth. Precisely, let $n$ be the number of inputs neurons, $m$ be the number of output neurons, and let $ρ$ be any nonaffine continuous function, with a ...

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Summation of the Universal Series on the Chebyshev Polynomials
The Universal functional series have been studied by many authors since 1906, the year when the Hungarian mathematician, Michael Fekete first considered the universal power series in the real domain. Trigonometric universal series were built by D.

Universal approximation of continuous functions with minimal quantum circuits
The conventional paradigm of quantum computing is discrete: It utilizes discrete sets of gates to realize bitstring-to-bitstring mappings, some of them arguably intractable for classical computers.
