Two improved forensic methods of detecting contrast enhancement in digital images [PDF]
Contrast enhancements, such as histogram equalization or gamma correction, are widely used by malicious attackers to conceal the cut-and-paste trails in doctored images.

Signcryption schemes with insider security in an ideal permutation model
Signcryption aims to provide both confidentiality and authentication of messages more efficiently than performing encryption and signing independently. The “Commit-then-Sign & Encrypt” (CtS&E) method allows to perform encryption and signing in parallel ...

Twisted Polynomials and Forgery Attacks on GCM [PDF]
Polynomial hashing as an instantiation of universal hashing is a widely employed method for the construction of MACs and authenticated encryption (AE) schemes, the ubiquitous GCM being a prominent example.

A Novel Approach to Detect Copy Move Forgery using Deep Learning
With the development of readily available image editing tools, manipulating an image has become a universal issue. To check the authenticity, it is necessary to identify how various images might be forged and the way they might be detected using various ...

DNA: Uncovering Universal Latent Forgery Knowledge
As generative AI achieves hyper-realism, superficial artifact detection has become obsolete. While prevailing methods rely on resource-intensive fine-tuning of black-box backbones, we propose that forgery detection capability is already encoded within pre-trained models rather than requiring end-to-end retraining.

Quantum forgery attacks against OTR structures based on Simon's algorithm
Classical forgery attacks against Offset Two-round (OTR) structures require some harsh conditions, such as some plaintext and ciphertext pairs need to be known, and the success probability is not too high.

Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A
The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.
