A Survey of Dormitory Vietnamese University Students’ Lifestyle

The research is conducted to explore the reality of cultural life of Vietnamese boarding students at a public university in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Thereby, the authors made recommendations for a proper cultural life in the educational setting, which helped to enhance the living and studying environment for boarders.

Sound Isolation Criteria for University Dormitories

Five existing dormitory buildings at a large eastern U. S. university were surveyed in order to establish acoustical criteria for the university's campus housing building program. House dust mites in university dormitories.

As no published data was available, dust was collected from 102 university student dormitory rooms and 33 were selected on a random basis for analysis. Mean dust per dormitory room was 4.47 g of coarse, 0.96 g of fine, and a 24-hour sedimented volume of fine dust of 6.90 mL.
