A novel signature integrating genome‐wide analysis with clinical factors predicts recurrence in stage II colorectal cancer and enables a new risk stratification to guide postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical risk stratification for postoperative recurrence in patients with pathological stage II (pStage II) colorectal cancer (CRC) is essential ...

On the Volume-Ranking of Opportunity Sets in Economic Environments [PDF]
The domain of polyconvex sets, i.e. finite unions of convex, compact, Euclidean sets, is large enough to encompass most of the opportunity sets typically encountered in economic environments, including non-linear or even non-convex budget sets, and ...

Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

Housing Ranking: a model of equilibrium between buyers and sellers expectations [PDF]
The equilibrium set of housing units (alternatives) can be characterized from the standpoint of both the demander and the supplier. The current work describes an application of the multicriteria single price model to the ranking of alternatives.

University rankings: Time to reconsider
University rankings offer some benefits but also come with significant drawbacks. While they can encourage healthy competition, they often lead to unethical practices and prioritize short- term gains over long-term educational purposes. Relying on biased metrics like citations and journal impact factors is a major flaw, potentially misrepresenting the ...
