The Remaining Busy Time in a Retrial System with Unreliable Servers
2020In this paper, we consider a multiserver retrial queuing system with unreliable servers class-dependent retrial rates and N classes of customers following Poisson input processes. We analyze the distribution of the stationary generalized remaining service time which includes all unavailable periods (setup times) occurring during service of the customer.

An algorithmic approach for analysis of finite-source retrial systems with unreliable servers [PDF]
This paper aims at presenting an approach for analyzing finite-source retrial systems with servers subject to breakdowns and repairs, using Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets (GSPNs).

Empirical and Analytical Evaluation of Systems with Multiple Unreliable Servers
International Conference on Dependable Systems and Networks (DSN'06), 2006We construct, analyze and solve models of systems where a number of servers offer services to an incoming stream of demands. Each server goes through alternating periods of being operative and inoperative. The objective is to evaluate and optimize performance and cost metrics. A large real-life data set containing information about server breakdowns is

The Stationary Investigation on Multi-server Fluid Queueing Model with Unreliable Server
2020We consider multi-server fluid queueing system including working vacation and with server breakdown. A steady-state distribution of the fluid buffer queueing distance is calculated using matrix geometric solution approach. We calculate differential equations which are satisfied by steady-state joint distribution of the function of the fluid flow.
