Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Upper and lower solution method for Hilfer fractional evolution equations with nonlocal conditions
This paper is concerned with the existence of extremal mild solutions for Hilfer fractional evolution equations with nonlocal conditions in an ordered Banach space E.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Lower and upper solutions for elliptic problems in nonsmooth domains
In this paper we prove some existence results of semilinear Dirichlet problems in nonsmooth domains in presence of lower and upper solutions well-ordered or not. We first prove existence results in an abstract setting using degree theory.

We first identified functional murine mitochondrial N‐formyl peptides (MT‐FPs) and investigated their effects on the in vitro myeloid‐derived suppressor cell (MDSC) generation from bone marrow cells. We demonstrated that MT‐FPs acted directly on bone marrow cells to promote MDSC generation and modulated the polymorphonuclear (PMN)‐MDSC/monocyte (M ...

Monotone iterative technique is employed for studying the existence of solutions to the second-order nonlinear singular boundary value problem $$ -ig(p(x)y'(x)ig)'+p(x)fig(x,y(x),p(x)y'(x)ig)=0 $$ for $0<x<1$ and $y'(0)=y'(1)=0$. Here $p(0)=0$

Two Abstract Methods of Lower and Upper Solutions with Applications
Abstract In this paper, we present two abstract methods for constructing a lower and an upper solution for a fixed point equation. The first method applies when the nonlinear operator is a composition of a linear and a nonlinear mapping, while the second method applies when the nonlinear operator satisfies an inequality of Harnack ...

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

We prove that it is possible to approximate the solutions of a nonlinear periodic boundary value problem via monotone sequences starting at piecewise continuous upper and lower solutions. In fact, we present here two different iterative methods. Explicit
